Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dolphin
Running Kubuntu Lucid, the search toolbar in dolphin always gives no results to any search term. KRunner, on the other hand, works fine. Alvaro Manuel Recio Perez reported in KDE bug 222687 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222687#c21) that installing the shared-desktop-ontologies package made dolphin's search work. I installed it, let nepomuk recreate its database from scratch, and sure enough dolphin search worked properly next login. I think shared-desktop-ontologies should be installed by default. It's already in main, already a build dependency of KDE, isn't a large package, and it would let dolphin search work out of the box. ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nepomuk-based search returns no results https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
