The wl driver has much bigger problems in Karmic, mainly, it doesn't
seem to report proper information back such as signal strength. Have
had to switch to ndiswrapper, so unfortunately can't provide any more

Great stuff :) Seems we can just use wicd for now and wait for a nm fix.
Though I'm quite liking wicd, may not bother switching back.

I have a theory that depsite the above comments that it may be wpa-supplicant
or the intel driver itself, it actually is just network-mananger.
I have just tried switching to Wicd (wicd.sourceforge.net) and it seems much
faster reconnecting on wake.

Id like to jump on this bug also.. am using the 'wl' wireless driver on Ubuntu
Intrepid.
Wireless/suspend works great, but wireless takes a good 20-30 seconds to
re-enable on wake. I thought this was normal behavior until only recently when
I started wondering is there any way to make it faster

and suspend to disk works, but no luck with suspend to ram which is what
