I have used the command of: systemclt enable sddm
After completing this command and reboting the machine it allows GUI on
startup.

I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. My gdm is not
starting at boot. I took my nVidia graphics card out 8800 GTS and this
became a problem in i386 install. I did a fresh install today and now I
in the new install gdm is still not launching. I am using Nvidia
chipset MCP51. Graphics
I have this error message up in my taskbar, It doesn't seem to affect
the system at all. Once the fix is applied I apply but unless it
effects the system or apps I would deal with other issues that are
crashing the OS. Running 64bit 9.10. Did not recall seeing the error
before I install the 64b
I installed Ubuntu 9.04 RC1, without blacklisting the ACX module system
load floated around 3.0. Not sure y this is, once the module is
blacklisted system load is lowered to normal levels.
Using Ndiswrapper and system load is back to normal. I can connect to

I have upgraded to the latest development version as of 09-13-2008. I
did what I call a dirty upgrade from hardy and seem to be getting the
above error. I will look at the bug listed above and see if it offers
any help.

I am running Hardy Alpaha 2 with current updates as of 01-03-2008 and I
am not able to change the time zone info with Clock 2.20.1 in the upper
task panel. I sent the time via the command line but it appears to have
updated its shelf back to the America / New York time zone.

I forced the package libstdc++6 to be upgrade by it's self and the error
has went away.

I am testing out Hardy 8.04. I went to update the Alpha 2 release and I
get the following error message:

I have installed libungif4-dev in place of libgif-dev.
After running the ./configure script for Mplayer it know says that I now
have GIF support.
It is ok to install it this way but what happens when a package depends
on libungif4-dev. The alternative method has worked for me. I have
read up o
d, 2 newly installed, 4 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 77.0kB of archives.
After unpacking 9785kB disk space will be freed.
