Clean install of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS x64 (Jammy Jellyfish), with KDE.
Noticed several suggestions to install via Snap...
I can report that installing the Arduino IDE via Snap (1.8.19+dfsg1-1)
has the EXACT same behavior as above. Asks for dialout permissions,
then closes. Running "arduino" from Ter
I have done everything people have said to do with no luck. keep getting
E:cache->open()failed report. Someone please help me

Bug still present on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, running on an HP Elitebook 850
G2. Ubuntu is installed on an SSD, and I noticed that there were long
delays that the hard drive light wasn't active. A check of dmesg showed
two ~6 second delays in the boot process, both on the same problem:

I have this same issue on my Series 9 NP900x4b too.
One thing I noticed is that DIRECTLY after doing a "bios" update from
windows... things started to work perfectly for a while in Linux. I
ended up booting back into windows for a game at some point, and after
coming back it has reverted back to w
I cant cut/copy/paste with my mouse. Can you fix this for me ? I dont know

Since upgrading to Edgy I have not really noticed it happening. I have
