Looks like the crash actually occurs when you try to drag an orphaned
curve dragpoint that is created when you undo the creation of certain
nodes. I added a call to hide the dragpoint before processing an undo
operation, which should fix it.

What? This is completely backwards. Dynamic objects should not have

Since the default is now to not show any icons, adding some to the

settings, but would improve the situation for people who *want* icons in

A lot of the discussion here is that some archives do not offer
compression, and therefore they should not be renamed to compressed
files. This is a completely irrelevant technicality. You are thinking in
the UNIX way, not in the simple user way. The simple user doesn't
recognize the difference bet

for disaster, as such tools are often malware vectors. There might not
be any such malware now, but I wouldn't count on it not appearing some
time in the future.

Yes, saving any document (even an empty one) into your home directory
using Save As is a valid workaround.
You can also use the development version, which embeds pasted images
