Public bug reported: When menus_have_icons is enabled, for example through the Gnome Tweak Tool, the placement of icons in the global application menu is wrong. Instead of begin placed in the allotted space on the left, the icons are placed as if they were part of the text. This results in ugly gaps on the left, a ragged appearance of the menu and decreased readability. Attached screenshot shows the problem in more detail.
