This is definitely a bug, and an important one. Recently I started to
suffer from these symptoms too. After starting up the computer and
running nautilus (this is important, only after running nautilus), the
gnome-settings-daemon process froze up my computer, totally. Disk

I have 82852/855GM and my system crashed everytime I tried to play video
in Totem. It also didn't want to boot, but enabling i915.modeset helped
with that.
After installing driver update from comment #36 and disabling modeset

After several more days I must say a lot of things are not as
deterministic as I described.
After clean boot the mute crackle is usually very quiet (audible in
headphones only), but occasionally it also started with loud crackle.
The suspend and resume seems to change quiet crackle to loud crackle
David, cool! We're not there yet, but it's an improvement! What I have
found out:
1. Having 'options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 power_save_controller=N' enabled:
* When I clean boot notebook, the crackling is not audible in speakers, but if
you plug headphones you can hear it.
* When you suspend

2. I removed pulseaudio package, killed pulseaudio processes, and the problem
is still present. Therefore I don't think it is related to pulseaudio.

crackling problem (usually audio is crackling, sometimes it's silent, very
occasionaly it's ok). But not in MP3 files (they play ok), but in AVI
(containing MP3 usually). For example in this file:

It is not exactly user friendly - the dialog is not quite readable for
the average end user - but yes, it seems like fixed. Thanks.

Pidgin-libnotify ovšem Launchpad k překladu nepoužívá (viz informace na

I reopen this bug because it is not fixed. There are 45 translations in
Jaunty [1] but only 20 translations in the default template [2].

Prošel jsem ty návrhy, některé přijmul, některé doplnil vlastní.
Pokud již existuje dobrý návrh, myslím si, že jeho zvolení nemá žádný
vliv. Nemyslím si, že se tak jakkoliv počítá počet hlasů nebo něco
podobného. Tudíž to lze prostě přeskočit.
Tady u toho balíku je problém, že větší část pochází

debian-installer [1] jako návrhy, a poté zde uvést seznam čísel těchto
upravených překladů (každý překlad má své číslo vedle lupy)? Mě se to
tam totiž takto velmi špatně hledá, když jsi neuvedla ani číslo daného
překladu, ani ang
Zhruba tak. Nikoliv že jsi doplnil návrhy, ale rovnou jsi to přeložil :)
Což můžeš, protože Miro není interní balík v Ubuntu ale je to nezávislý
projekt, který jen (stejně jako Ubuntu) využívá Launchpadu k překladům.
Takže není potřeba, aby to někdo odsouhlasoval.

pravděpodobně brzy doputují i do LP.
