Thank you for the information. I tried removing the location to recreate
the bug but it didn't hang this this. I don't know how to recreate this
apart from reinstalling hardy. I'll try reinstalling if I have the time.

I already had written a little script for that does the same thing but
the one you pointed to is more generalized and can be used for >1 drives
so I started using it now. Works like expected now. I don't use -B 255
for ac power though. Because the disk overheats then.
