This has been working fine for me now under Karmic/proposed...
Sleep/resume works without problem from a Kernel point of view.
The nVidia 185 64bit drivers behave a little weirdly after resume in
that they affect Docky and Firefox's dropdown but that's a completely
separate issue.

I moved the banshee.db and re-imported the library... The delay is still
there, sorry... 2 cores maxed out, very slow GUI redraw, delays in
responding to skip track, rating or re-sorting the display.

I'm getting this too with similar Intel hardware. Was fine on Jaunty,
now pops on Karmic beta. The pop can be heard only on certain
sounds/apps (Workrave pops a lot, Banshee doesn't) and even when muted.

Ok, so I can't change the importance because I'm just a lowly scum bag,
but I've found some more information.
Turning Compiz off solves the problem for me. Turning Compiz back on
crashes Compiz in Karmic beta, so I can't test to see if it just needed
a nudge.

The version of Flash bundled with Karmic beta is broken. I'm going to
change the importance to Medium since FF+Flash is such a critical
component for most users and their experience of Ubuntu.

Going around in circles with this... But other people also having the
issue and there's a solution here:

I seem to be caught in a loop here... When trying to uninstall this
ubuntustudio-default-settings, I'm told there's an error and I must re-
install it. So I do which brings back a load of related packages.
Uninstalling them or ubuntustudio-default-settings gets me back to the
start!
How can I kill
I have the lead now, but I cannot recreate the conditions for this bug
at this time due to other gvfs/gphoto bugs!

It's doing it again. Next reboot and Tilda segfaults on startup.
I think I've worked out why though: In the .tilda directory is the
config_0 created when you run it with -C. When I looked at the folder
after a crash, config_0 was completely empty and config_1 appeared to
have its contents.

Indeed, I managed to fix it by running tilda -C which I imagine is
roughly the same as binning the ~/.tilda directory.
I did notice that when I ran config mode, all my previous settings where
gone. Now though, Tilda doesn't crash on startup, so it looks like Tilda
corrupted its config files maybe?
Tilda (0.09.6-1 on Intrepid) appeared to be working fine as I was using
it when I first installed it.
So I added it to my session startup programs with command
/usr/bin/tilda. Now it is crashing on startup and also when I try to run
it manually i get "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

I was already running a 3G Huawei modem in another USB port that was
