Same issue for me too with Kubuntu 10.04, Thinkpad T42.
This issue does not occur when I use Ubuntu 10.04, which makes me wonder
whether its really an xorg bug or if it might be something else.

The Evolution "Duplicate Contact Detected" dialog shows the text
"[custom widget creation failed]" on the left side, and the text ("The

I encountered this problem when I attempted to rip a CD with Japanese
titles. I am guessing it has something to do with the treatment of
special characters (maybe UTF-8)? It would be nice to get this fixed;
however, I was able to rip the CD (including correct tags) with abcde.
