OK, I've edited the deja-dup desktop file to include a quicklist to allow
access to the preferences, and ALSO displays the progress bar whilst running.

I have three deja-dup desktop files. !?!
One of which will display the progress bar whilst backing up if locked to the
launcher.
The other two will load up the deja-dup preferences window if clicked and if
backup is run from the prefer

No error thrown out, but did not launch Nautilus and icons formally on desktop

File can be restored via command line, & folder can be restored via
deja-dup-preferences panel.
However, neither file nor folder can be restored (reverted to previous
KeepassX exhibits the same behaviour for me in 11.10 (64 bit) (English UK -
keyboard layout).
Specifically the @ and " symbols are transposed when using KepassX's Auto-type
function.
Another workaround is to add a second keyboard layout to the keyboard
preferences, (any layout will do); Auto

Hi - Still struggling with this problem.
None of the updated alsa-driver-modules (since 01-July-2010) have (Re)resolved
the problem.
Not sure what info I can provide, or whether to open up a separate bug.

Stopping GDM before shutting down doesn't work either.

After these updates the problem became VERY frequent. (re-installing initscript

I have also managed to get wakealarm working in Intrepid.
I can confirm that, for me also, MythTV & mythwelcome required UTC times
passing across i.e.
time_t
rather than

as mentioned by smo above.

I don't have a spare test rig so went the Live CD route, and entered
command
sudo shutdown -P now
from the terminal.
The machine shut down successfully 25+ times.
I would have expected >4 power down failures if Hardy had been shut down 25
times!

I have the same problem on Hardy 64bit. Only started to happen in the
last couple of days & only then with certain messages.
Tried disabling add-ons (British English Dictionary 1.19 & XNote 2.1) on
Thunderbird 2.0.0.12, and problem remains.
