Hello hyperair,
11_rtl8187_workaround does not work for me. After resume, the network is
disabled. I need right-click on network applet and "enable network".
'sudo ifconfig wlan0 down' does not result in any messages and the
network applet still showing connected state. But 'ifconfig' does not

I found a workaround that is working here without the event/0 problem.
I don't know if is the order of unload/load, but
SUSPEND_MODULES="rtl8187" does not work very well. Instead, I created a
file (/etc/pm/sleep.d/09_rtl8187_workaround, attached, 09_name is
important) to unload the module right be
Thanks Sebastien. I will follow your direction about the title next
time. I did it here because it happened when restoring, on Intrepid, a
backup from Hardy. So from evolution-2.22.3.1-0ubun to
evolution-2.24.0-0ubuntu.
I couldn't reproduce the problem on messages, but I found another issue:

kern.log shows a lot of suspension/wakeup, the error related with
events/0, forced rmmod rtl8187 and some forced poweroff. There are some
acpi errors like "ACPI Error (psargs-0358): [BRTW] Namespace lookup
failure, AE_NOT_FOUND".
Please, someone could define importance and assignment for this bug?
