Hello hyperair,

11_rtl8187_workaround does not work for me. After resume, the network is
disabled. I need right-click on network applet and "enable network".

'sudo ifconfig wlan0 down' does not result in any messages and the
network applet still showing connected state. But 'ifconfig' does not
show wlan0 anymore; it is really down.

'sudo rmmod rtl8187' results in "usbcore: deregistering interface driver
rtl8187" as expected, and now the network applet shows disconnected
state.

'sudo modprobe rtl8187' results in:

[ 9878.087131] rtl8187: 8187B chip detected. Support is EXPERIMENTAL, and could
damage your
[ 9878.087136] hardware, use at your own risk
[ 9878.092020] phy6: Selected rate control algorithm 'pid'
[ 9878.092925] phy6: hwaddr 00:15:af:e9:c9:06, RTL8187BvE V0 + rtl8225z2
[ 9878.093797] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8187

And networkmanager reconnects as expected.

I don't know why NetworkManager gets confused if I put the workaround
after 10NetworkManager. What events
'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.sleep' message causes?

A note: I am using now '2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Tue Nov 4 19:33:06 UTC
2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux'.
