Despite having applied the fix, I'm still having a white screen on

Running Hardy x86_64, all the latest updates.
The oops happens sometimes on an attempt to go into standby mode. The
laptop would refuse to sleep, and although it's still possible to log in
into a tty, no application can be started. It's even impossible to shut
it down cleanly
Issue solved: firefox wasn't the preferred browser application by some
reason. Setting it to be the default fixed the problem.

I'm trying to make my BT headset to work in Hardy x86_64, so far without
any luck.
The "old" module+btsco solution hangs the applications that try to use
them, the bluez audio service doesn't work and the bluetooth-alsa's
headsetd prints following when attempting to play a file:

The suspend-to-RAM issue seems to be fixed in 64bit Hardy. I'm not using
hibernation, so can't tell how reliable that is.
