I am just booting Lucid Alpha 2 from a Live USB and the problem is once again
present: SD card not read when I insert it and I get from the terminal:

Hmmm, that was very weird indeed: the SD card reader is actually working for me
now. When I insert a card it is found at once with Nautilus showing the drive.

I have the exact same problem. Workaround: The programs being launched
are being linked to from ~/.config/gnome-session/saved-session so one
can delete all the files in that folder.
