Public bug reported: After (finally) having found out enabling jack sense manually (although I find this should be enabled by default; there are other bug reports on this), there is still one small problem: If I plug headphones (or external speakers) to my laptop before booting and then start up afterwards, the sound won't come out from the internal speakers if I now decide to plug out the jack cord. That is, the sound will now only play if have something plugged in the jack input. The only solution to this problem is to boot without headphones or external speakers plugged in.
I am using Intrepid (8.10) and I suspect I suppose the related package is "linux". This is my first bug report so if information is missing, I will gladly post anything else needed! ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Laptop speakers not working after booting with headphones plugged in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
