year LTS with a glaring GUI bug for the entire time? This bug has been
patched here and upstream but no fix has been issued to people not
subscribing to PPAs or back porting. General users still stare this ugly

I have a Gateway with a 1.6GHz intel atom 450, 1GB or Ram, an intel
video card. Just reporting that the beta was also unusable for me and I
had to revert back (reinstall from scatch) and I'm not looking to repeat

and using the 396 release as a starting point I was able to package 1134! So

I've been using compiz and this video card for over a year and was a bit
choked when I logged in tonight to suddenly have it fail on me telling
me it's been blacklisted because it doesn't work. To have compiz drop
for my video card after it was in the last last two or three releases

Having Tomboy sshfs sync work every other Ubuntu release is no fun.
And what's the worry of picking this patch? I mean its not like you might break
something because it doesn't work to begin with so it'd be hard to have a
regression from here. :)
