I had the same issue on Ubuntu 20.04, network card Intel 9260. Only
disabling 802.11n temporarily solved it, but significantly affected
network performance (>50%), not acceptable for me. The issue seems to be
gone after upgrading to Ubuntu 20.10.

Binary package hint: grub
update-manager is asking me (in expanded terminal window) if i want to
let it create the menu.lst for me. as far as i know menu.lst was for the
old 1.x grub while i'm using grub2, which is probably the reason why it
has to create it (i don't have it)

Yesterday I worked for all the afternoon without even knowing there were
new messages for me to read, as at a fast glance the small icon is
almost the same...
As stated in bug #450825 the new notification icons are not meant to remove all
the colors from there, but to use colors to grab the user

I started using indicator-applet with Ubuntu 9.10, so I do not know if
it's a new bug or an old one.
I am using Pidgin as IM app, and when I click on the indicator applet to
show the dropdown menu, and a contact logs in or writes me, the
I think this bug can be confirmed: an LP link for unavailable changelogs has
been added in update-manager from intrepid (version 1:0.91.6), but is still
missing in synaptic's changelog viewer.
Can be marked as a wishlist; it should be easy to fix.

With Ubuntu 9.04 I had no problems at all using my Epson Stylus Photo R220. Now
I am unable to have a decent print from Ubuntu.

Ok, solved, it was linked to an "Helvetica" font I did install (using a
low-quality ttf, I think). A lot of sites ask fot Helvetica, so it was used,
and meant many problems (the system did consider it as lower than it was - so,
low text background, low selected text,...).
