Bug has been confirmed with the latest intrepid beta. I was able to boot
into the system only after blacklisting rtl8180. If the module is loaded
and I try to bring wlan0 up (either by NetworkManager or manually), the
whole system freezes.
The problem is not NetworkManager, but the kernel module i

I was able to figure this out after installing debian lenny.

I've tried removing the keyboard/mouse and I still got the same problem,
so maybe that's not it?
I have a wireless card that's a Belkin F5D7000 with a realtek rtl8185

Ditto on the slow copying from HDD to USB. In nautilus, after the file
has reached 100% (i.e. 0 seconds left) it still sits there for about
20-30 seconds before it'll actually finish writing the data on the USB
drive.
