Public bug reported: Downloaded intrepid ibex Alpha 4 and burned it to a CD, and that worked fine. I burned it, and it shows the option to install, try without installing, etc. I selected the try without installing option, and I see the loader, but then the keyboard and mouse die and I'm left with just a blinking screen, i.e. it never gets to gnome. I think it's a problem with the hot-pluggable thing that was added in Alpha 4.
I also tried the install without trying, and it installed fine, but then on first boot, it seems as though it's loading, but then the system stops at the beige screen and the keyboard and mouse are not responsive. P.S. It's an intel motherboard with a Nvidia 6200 AGP graphics card, a PS/2 keyboard, and a USB mouse. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Downloaded intrepid ibex Alpha 4 and burned it to a CD, and that worked fine.
