I upgraded to Karmic yesterday and can comfirm this bug (also amd64).
This is a workaround, that temporarily solves the problem for me: Open
nautiuls and right click on a jpg-file. Choose "Open with" and select
the last entry "Other application". Then at the bottom you can set a

Can confirm that the new driver solves the problem. WOL worked fine in
8.10 and before. After update to 9.04 it stopped working. After
replacing the driver with r8168 it works fine again.
Can not confirm problem with suspended state (reported by concertedrxn),
because I am not using suspend state.
Same problem, also amd64 and intrepid. Gringotts version is 1.2.10pre1.
No problem when started with strace.

OpenOffice.org 2.0.4 crashes when trying to print
https://bugs.launch
I updated from edgy to feisty yesterday and now I tested openoffice.
Version is now 2.2.0-1ubuntu3. It still crashes with exactly the same
behaviour. This time there was a bug report in /var/crash, I'll try to
attach it (gzip'ed because size is over > 8 MB).

could be an important information that I'm using logical volumes with

Also I cannot find any information in /var/log/*.log
There is no debug output if I start it from bash. The only output is

starting the program.
I could upload strace-information. But I'm not s
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I use OpenOffice.org version 2.0.4 on edgy with gnome. System is up-to-
date.
The problem seems to exist in Openoffice.org Writer, Calc and Draw. It
does not depend on the document, the error can be reproduced with newly
created documents
