I updated from edgy to feisty yesterday and now I tested openoffice. Version is now 2.2.0-1ubuntu3. It still crashes with exactly the same behaviour. This time there was a bug report in /var/crash, I'll try to attach it (gzip'ed because size is over > 8 MB).
