Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I use OpenOffice.org version 2.0.4 on edgy with gnome. System is up-to- date. The problem seems to exist in Openoffice.org Writer, Calc and Draw. It does not depend on the document, the error can be reproduced with newly created documents or with existing documents. This is the way to reproduce the crash in Writer: Open a document or create a new one. When clicking on "Print" in the menu I get a dialog to select and configure my printer. After confirming the print job, the program crashes and a report comes up, telling me that there was an unexpected error and that documents will be recoverd when I open the program again (this works). It also crashes when printing to a file. In Calc and Draw, the program crashes before even showing the printer configuration dialog. The only way to print is to create a pdf (this works fine) and print it in evince. ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Description changed: Binary package hint: openoffice.org I use OpenOffice.org version 2.0.4 on edgy with gnome.
