I've uninstalled DrPython, so i can't make sure; but i think it was:
1. Open a .py file in DrPython.
2. Open the same file in Eric.
3. Close DrPython.
Maybe 1 and 2 are to be swapped.

Needed a Python package; couldn't find Synaptic; closed all apps and
rebooted; saw 7.04 scrolling by; got update notification of Adept
Updater; updated; and everything's fine now, i guess *installs Synaptic
using Adept*

Last friday i started a dist upgrade using the Update Manager. It said
it could upgrade to 7.04 but the further dialog said 6.10, so i
cancelled the first attempt while downloading. Then i figured it wasn't
my problem, and tried again. Today i found the instal stuck
Jut fixed broken package libc6-i686 using Synaptic and tried Update
Manager again. It said i should upgrade the distro instead of the
packages, so i do that. I don't see any apps i'm currently using in the
list, so i keep this browser window open. "Upgrading Ubuntu to version

I was switching to it from Firefox 2.0 and hit ctrl-break to attempt to
stop SciTE's child process.
