Well a few days ago I installed hardy on my laptop with dist-upgrade, that
did not solve the issue. (could still not switch consoles) Now this was not a
fresh install, but it has the new xserver-xorg installed. So for me
xserver-xorg-video-intel is not working in gutsy now.

now I am able to switch consoles again. So this last version does NOT have the

[Gutsy backport] Cannot switch to console after installing

The original bug was that Brasero dialog said that the size is being
calculated. And that lasted forever. I haven't seen that problem anymore
in the last version. So I think that one is resolved.
So this morning I enabled gutsy backports (so not using the live CD
anymore) and tried to
tested with alpha 5 (no updates installed there, using live cd)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, been busy lately. I just
downloaded the Alpha 5 live cd
and tried to reproduce, bad news again Brasero is not working correctly.
I select a folder on my desktop and add that folder to a new audio compilation,
then Brasero

I am currently using k3b (since that added the option " number of copies"
before brasero did. And the above problem has been around for some time.)

The problem occurred on 7.10 (Gutsy), a 32 bit install on a 64 bit machine...
I will try to reproduce this on Hardy Alpha 2. But give me a week or so,
since it's holidays etc.

When the human theme is selected in XFCE the icons do not display

This is fixed by installing the corresponding iconset for OpenOffice
in my case: openoffice.org-style-tango
