that say what it is than to just block the displaying of such logs? and isn't
it possible to just not execute this video decoder? because if it tries to open
"unexpected" files, its that its been executed?

of php-fpm didn't work for us.

@Mao, have you tried using Fedora 17? It's using Shell 3.4.2 (gnome-
shell --version reports 3.4.1), with latest stable kernel and Mesa
(after update, however). If the bug was fixed, then it will be there.

Mint 12)?
The PPA version worked for Ubuntu 12.04 (default had this bug), and Fedora's
default works for me.

I would call it HD Graphics 1000, because it's weaker than 2000.

I got a similar problem. For example:
I want to drag and drop some text from maximised Firefox to a non-
maximised window of libreoffice writer.
I drag the text to the dock over the writer icon and the firefox window
vanishes while the writer window opens. (I guess this is the expo view?)

As an Info for people who might have the same problem:
I managed to get MSN to work, by uninstalling the package telepathy-butterfly.
Afterwards I created a new MSN account in evolution which then used
telepathy-haze as a fallback, I guess.
This works as it should.

I just confirmed that this really seems to be caused by the disabling of
tooltips in the .gtkrc-2.0. When I re-enable them, Gwibber works as it
should again.

I just tried on Ubuntu Server Edition 8.04.1 and it seems that the
problem is gone.
At least I can plug the stick in and out as much as I want, the above
mentioned programs (lsusb, etc.) don't freeze and list the stick
correctly.

After removing USB-WLAN-stick lsusb and usbview freeze and can
I managed to isolate the source of the bug.
Apparently something goes horribly wrong in ndiswrapper as soon as I
unplug the stick.
If I rmmod ndiswrapper before unplugging the stick everything works just
fine.
After replugging the stick and modprobing ndiswrapper I am able to
resume working with
Confirmed with Xubuntu Hardy and Nokia E61i.

I am using the Netgear WG111T WLAN stick with ndiswrapper and the
official windows drivers on Hardy.
It works fine at the beginning, but when I disconnect it from the USB
port and replug it, all processes which try to list usb devices, like
lsusb, ndiswrapper -l and usbview,

I seem to have the same problem with a Cannon i560, which is connected
via smb.
When I try to print the test-page it is all ok, but when I print a pdf,
no colors except for yellow (and black) are printed.
I am using Xubuntu, but I installed the gnome-cups-manager to set up the
printer.
