I managed to isolate the source of the bug. Apparently something goes horribly wrong in ndiswrapper as soon as I unplug the stick.
If I rmmod ndiswrapper before unplugging the stick everything works just fine. After replugging the stick and modprobing ndiswrapper I am able to resume working with the wlan0 interface. -- After removing USB-WLAN-stick lsusb and usbview freeze and can not be terminated https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227498 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
