Public bug reported:
I have been sorting my photos into different tags. When I select one of the
tags instead of thumbnails I see small globes (the icon for the tag) and if I
click on one of the globes f-spot crashes.
Running from terminal shows :

If this is the same bug that I have been encountering, it occurs because
the http://localhost/meta-release file is not getting updated with the
correct url. For example the line
>Release-File: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/Release
should be
>Release-File: http://old-
releases.ubu
SORRY IGNORE THE ABOVE I got "Light Up" instead.
Lights Off still doesnt work.

Same problems after install of Maverick...
Lights Out worked after installing java and re-installing lights out with
Ubuntu Software Centre (and several other games came along with it). (perhaps
it doesn't need to be reinstalled, but I had already removed it before
installing Java).
Complicated
It happened after I updated the system via Ubuntu's update manager

I got the same "invalid cmd 12" problem, but before getting around to patch saw
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1284891
Setting a low priority for wpa_supplicant with
sudo renice +19 $(pidof wpa_supplicant)
makes the connection work, even though the invalid cmd message is still
there!
