I figured that for me the error messages disappear if you set the SATA
mode to 'Compatibility Mode' instead of 'AHCI' in the BIOS. Ubuntu still
booted after this change. I could not find a relation to the Optimus
Graphics switch as reported at

ram and hibernate with the same thinkpad model. I cannot reproduce it
reliably though, but it definitely happens if I suspend often enough.

I do have a 'regular' dock for my T61 but it has of course a parallel
port as well. Freeze in resume from suspend did not occur for a while
(but I am *now* using the tuxonice kernel). Instead I have occasional
freezes on suspend to disk. Do not know if it can be related.
