I'm using two displays running through the DVI ports on my Geforce
7600GT. Pressing Alt+SysRq+K seems to clear the hang. When I press it,
the screen freezes for several seconds with a bunch of artifacts all
over it, then it loads the LiveCD desktop.

I'm the maintainer for nautilus-python and this is a nautilus-python
issue. I believe this and all the other related PyThreadState_New
crashes are fixed now (in git master), but it is hard to test against
one-off crashes like this that aren't easily reproducible.

I've upgraded my firefox-3.0.x installation to the PPA's 3.5.4pre
version and this behavior appears to be fixed. Hopefully someone else
can do the upgrade and confirm that.

I installed Jaunty 9.04 alpha on my laptop (the m6810) by doing a
distribution upgrade from the existing 8.10 system. The upgrade process
was a success and after rebooting I immediately tried to suspend. I put
the laptop into suspend mode and it went down. Once down, I pressed the

I'm running an emachines m6810 laptop and I have this same issue on
Ubuntu 8.10 with the latest 2.6.27-11-generic kernel. When I suspend,
the machine goes down into suspend mode and my power button blinks.
