I have the same issue. Although this isn't a solution instead of
pressing Ctrl+Alt+F4 and then needing to reboot I just press super+L
(window_key+L) to lock the screen and then just enter my password to
unlock and it works every time. Still waiting for a proper solution but

Please elaborate on what you're trying to do/report here, as the message
doesn't tell us too much. We already know the Nvidia proprietary driver
does not support VA-API itself. There is a wrapper available in Ubuntu
>= 24.04: h
Tried upgrading again, bug seems to have been fixed in the meantime.
