have tried all suggestions in this thread save for wiping my install and
starting fresh, a

I've had this problem since upgrading from Karmic to Lucid. I had NFS
working in Karmic, but haven't got it working with Lucid yet after many
attempts.
Steps to produce the error:
1. System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager
2. Reinstall nfs-kernel-server
3. Apply

I've tried to reproduce with lighty and failed to do so, but since you
say it is a 1% issue, perhaps I'm just not lucky enough :)

Wicd definitely supports WPA - I'm using it right now. I'd much rather

Any progress on this? I'm running kernel 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 (built from
source), with "nomodeset" option, the last kernel that works for me.
I've got a x40 2386BHU. The x41 has similar problems by the way.

This bug was reported to jaunty and getmail version 4.8.4 is recorded in
bug log.
Since Jaunty package only had 4.8.4-1 this should be associated to
4.8.4-1 .
The upstream current version is 4.20.0. I recommend Ubuntu to backport
from Debian sid.
2 other bugs I see are for older ones.
