I am using gnome-terminal with tabs, however I was able to replicate the
issue from another machine entirely when sshing into my box, and that
machine was using xterm.
FYI, I've now tried to downgrade the vim* packages to the Feisty
packages (which worked fine for me when I ran Feisty),

1) Clean up any remaining failed install files:

I've just come across to the same bug. In my case, I have just copied a
big file, about 700MB, to my MMC card. After that I could not unmount it
and now it doesn't seem to mount properly. Is the file system screwed? I
thought that this memory cards use FAT-32, but if so, it should not give

I have a problem that seems very related in hardy; when using 1gb of ram
bootup takes anything from 5 to 20 minutes, afterwards the system is
fast as normal. With only 768MB Ram, bootup takes about a minute. Just
that this bug doesn't get closed.

and down arrows to navigate this view, not right and left. I'm using
Gnome and Gutsy (7.10).

I have a Toshiba P105-6024 with this Sound Card. The application of the
patch solved the sound problem. BUT the screen brightness is out of
control. It only wants to stay at full capacity. Too bright actually. I
