Well, your in luck, its easy enough for beagle to be compiled against
sqlite3, just delete all the sqlite2 stuff off your computer and
reinstall beagle, and you should be ok. This might be a packaging issue
(I'll look into it) but you should be good.

The solution posted didn't work for me...
The program doesn't crash, and it seems to be all right except the part of no
sound :(
As a sidenote, "pmidi -p " doesn't make any sound
at all but wastes 100% CPU time, just like rosegarden while playing (or
making us believe it is doing it).

Can we get the fix in dapper-updates also? This bug has made mldonkey
completely unusable on Dapper.
It would be great if that can be done.

It does look like they are built against different SQLite versions -
beagle has libsqlite0 (version 2.x) as a dependency, while f-spot has
both libsqlite0 (version 2.x) and libsqlite3-0 (3.x) as dependencies.
The dual-dependency for f-spot doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me,
but perhaps there

I use the newest version 6.06 LTS (fresh install although old home

I think once using the iso-image tool on terminal it reported files
being non-compliant when the encodings of the file names themselves
where somehow not nice (ie. including some bad characters). The initial

Before Gnome 2.16, there ws no unified startup system, so this was used,
now that there is gnome-session manager, its kinda pointless and
confusing. If you could file a bug upstream at bugs.gnome.org that would
be great.
