I have the same problem--in addition--my Firewire CD-RW drive will show up, but the premissions seem to have changed from Breezy to Dapper-- before in Breezy-I could read/write with no problem--in Dapper- I can only read-all ways I've tried to allow write permission have failed. I do not know if the two problems are related, but it seems interesting that both showed up in my update from Breezy to Dapper.
