Sorry for the trouble. I have found out the problem.
in /etc/init.d/rc script i have modifiled CONCURRENCY=none
to CONCURRENCY=shell which os didnt like it. 9.10 still have few bugs to
deal with.

Well, I found this thing easier - install ubuntu from CD then download only
those things which you need.
Having the DVD won't help much. Ubuntu DVD installs the same things the CD
does, the only difference is the DVD has more packages which you may need to
download.
I couldn't find any download link yet. All they have is Release Client
iso's.
If anyone could find the download link, please let me know.

1. Rythmbox stopped playing at one point, and is not working even after
restarting the application later the OS.
2. Logout did not work by clicking the icon. Had to do it by Ctrl + Alt +

Control+Alter+Backspace helped to re-login.
2. The logout button on shutdown menu is not working at all.

problem is WineX repository is not maintained any more. So the source
available is too old. Meaning even if you successfully compiled it you
