গত ১৭ই মে অনেকদিন পর উবুন্টু বাংলাদেশের আইআরসি চ্যানেলে (#ubuntu-bd) কিছু
পাগলদের সমাবেশ ঘটেছিলো, সেখানে যেমন হালের নতুন ক্রেজের ছিঃনেমা নিয়ে আলোচনা
হয়েছে তেমনি গ্রুপের কিছু বিষয় নিয়েও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কথা উঠে এসেছে।

অনিরুদ্ধকে ব্যাণ করা হয়েছিলো এই তথ্য আমি পাইনি। যাই হোক আবারও এ্যাড করে
মেইল রিলিজ করে দিয়েছি। নতুন কেউ সাবস্ক্রাইব করে যদি মেইল পেন্ডিং হয় তাহলে
অনুগ্রহ করে একটু আমাকে বা আদনান ভাই অথবা শাবাব ভাইকে মেইলের মাধ্যমে জানান।
অনিরুদ্ধের মেইলের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে কয়েকটা কথা বলছি যেগুলো অনেকদিন ধরে বলি বলি
কর
লিফো ফোরামে আমি খুব বেশিদিন ঘুরিনি তাই সবার যেরকম এটা নিয়ে স্পর্শকাতরতা
আছে, আমার তেমন নেই। আর সেজন্যই সবাই একটা ফোরাম থাকতে আরেকটাকে কেনো আনতে
বলছে আমি বুঝতে পারছি না। আমরা চাইলে লিফো ফোরামের ইউআরএল রিডাইরেক্ট করে
লিনাক্সদেশে দিতাম
যাই হোক লিনাক্সদেশের প্রশাসক/সমন্বয়করা যদি চান লিনাক্সদেশকে লিফো
@masnun +১ আমারও মনে হয় কিছু কিছু থ্রেড আসলেই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ছিলো এবং সম্ভব
হলে লিনাক্সদেশে পোর্ট করা দরকার (ও হ্যাঁ লিনাক্সদেশের উপর আস্থা না রাখার
কোন যৌক্তিকতা আমি পাচ্ছি না, আমাদের সবারই লক্ষ্য যেখানে এক)। আমার মনে হয়
রাসেল ভাইয়ের কাছে লিফো-র ডাটাবেস ডাম্প পাওয়া যাব সেটা নিয়ে যদি অনিরুদ্ধ কাজ
করে
এটা ভালো যে অনেকেই ফোরামের জন্য আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করছে। তবে আমার মনে হয় না
আমাদের আবার নতুন করে একটা ফোরাম চালু করার প্রয়োজন আছে কারণ ইতিমধ্যে
http://forum.linuxdesh.org/ চলছে। আমাদের উচিত এই ফোরামকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করা।
আর লিফো চালুর সময় আমি থাকলেও তখন নতুন চাকরীতে ঢুকার পরপর নিয়মিত আসতে

আমার পরীক্ষা চলছে জানি না আসতে পারবো কিনা। অন্যরা অবশ্যই মজা করবেন।

আসলাম তখন দেখি বিএলইউএ আর লিফো বন্ধ। এরপর দেখি বিবাদের কারণে অনেক পরিচিত
মানুষই আর কমিউনিটিতে আগ্রহ পাচ্ছেন না। ১ বছর পরও সেই বিবাদ বিরোধ চলতে
দেখছি।

নির্ঝর উবুন্টু মেইলিং লিস্টে পোস্ট করলে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই সবাই মনে করবে
প্রাইমারী ওএস উবুন্টু নিয়ে কথা হচ্ছে, তাই অন্য ডিস্ট্রো ব্যবহার করলে অবশ্যই
তা উল্লেখ করবেন।
আর আরেকটা কথা হলো ফেডোরা মেইলিং লিস্টে অনেক বিজ্ঞ লোক রয়েছেন পরর্রতীতে
তাদেরকেও cc-তে রেখেন ওই লিস্টেও কিছু মেইল আদানপ্রদানর প্রয়োজন আছে
আমি নিশ্চিত নই গুগল কিভাবে তাদের ডুডল নির্বাচন করে। আমি যতোটুকু দেখেছি
কেবল স্কুলের ছেলেমেয়েদের জন্য একটি প্রতিযোগীতা আছে।
আমার মনে হয় আমরা যদি ডুডল তৈরি করে তার স্যাম্পল ছবি ইমেইল বডিতে দিয়ে পাঠাই
তাহলে আরও ভালো হয়। আমার জানা মতে অভ্রনীল ভাই ও ডার্ক লর্ড ভাই অল্পবিস্তর
ভালো কাজ পারেন ডিজাইনিং এ,
বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া টপিকে আবার একটু মন্তব্য না করে পারছি না
যারা বারবার সিস্টেম আপগ্রেড অথবা নতুন ডিস্ট্রো ইনস্টল করে পরখ করতে চান
তাদের জন্য আমার পরামর্শ হবে / (রুট) এর বাইরে আলাদা পার্টিশনে /home (হোম
ডাইরেক্টরি) করার জন্য। এতে ইনস্টলেশনে/আপগ্রেডে সমস্যা হলেও হোম ডাইরেক্টরি
আর ইউজারের ডাটা অক্ষত থাকব

নাও হতে পারে। একদিনের মধ্যে সবকিছু করতে চাইলে হয় না, হাতে সময় রেখে
করতে হয়।
