I don't know, cutout on the side icons seems to be only alternative to
current shade. And I played with Tux placement already, for the sake
of balancing white area of the pictogram like you said, but to me it
doesn't look that nice, when it's not placed perfectly in the center

I tend to call it that way since I mess with code more. I know design basics
(revising them right now actually) and that's all, I don't belong to the
design culture.

Hehe, well this post make me feel better already...
Things you mentioned are "fixed" now, if this could be called fixing.
I played with Tux color, and I think it looks more slick now.
Side COF logo is now in the same color as other two icons, and it's
stil aubergine, cause I'm not sure what shade

No, you are not. You are moving forward. I just can't notice or enumerate
all glitches at once just looking at an in-progress version. For all
previous versions I thought "OK, enough for this revision"
Heh... A lot of dislikes this time. It turned out that I'm going backwards.
About TUX and COF logo on front, yes, I noticed that they still look
different, but I don't know... I don't see such a big "mistake" there.
Maybe I'll do a cutout instead color overlay, to see how it's gonna
turn out.

Tux and ubuntu logo now have the same color technically, but not visually.
Ubuntu logo is larger and is surrounded by darker background, so it looks

Ubuntu and GNOME logos on the side also have different shades of aubergine,
it also looks inconsistent. One e

Is there any reason the wording on the back mentions "Great Looking" ?
We could just say "Beautiful" tha

Yes, back pictograms are disconnected from the corresponding text, and
that is something I tend to work on further. I think I will do a
baloon-alike tab below them with that "Up-to-date..." text filling it.
Bullets around Ubuntu tagline maybe are unnecersary addon.
About TUX color, it's just that

The previous pictograms on the back were better. The current ones don't have
any connection with the text-circles above them and seem meaningless on
their own in this context. After re-reading your message I saw that they are
explained in the text beneath them, b
This is getting close to it's final shape, i think.
Here are some changes I made this time. Like I said last time, I added
3 official pictograms on the back side, instead 3 orange icons, that
noone really liked. Those are the pictograms which represent
"Up-to-date" Ubuntu nature, from the Ubuntu we
