yes I got it too,
I think all you need to do is to change the buildscript to actually create
the directory
/home/jfarcand/jakarta-tomcat/servlet-api-2.4/lib/
first, then it will work,

Hi Costin,
haven't had time to review these changes, will they affect the clustering
implementation of
the manager that extends StandardManager in there?

One more thing,
should we add a ClusterBase class too, to enable a cluster to become an MBean by
default?
I assume we could put in all the JMX methods in there, because today, I only implement
the Cluster interface in my class.

the full
build error, just check out jakarta-tomcat-5 clean and you will reproduce it.
Remy, setting it to /usr/local will not work :(, I'm working on windows, I'm sure I
get flamed for that alone LOL

Remy and all others,
who is currently working on the Tomcat/JBoss integration. I've been getting some
inquiries about running the Tomcat session replication instead of JBoss session
replication on the Tomcat/JBoss platform.
I looked into the jboss-3.0.6-tomcat-4.1.18 bundle and the code for JBo

In the target "fix-webapps" it looks like it is moving the file admin.xml,
hence if I run
"ant dist" twice, the second build will fail

I'm about to implement cluster wide deployment.
Who should initiate the call to deploy cluster wide, should it be the
StandardHostDeployer or the manager servlet?

then we need to coordinate a way to load balance around that.

The HTTP connector
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/config/coyote.html
has two attributes, "proxyName" and "proxyPort", I would like to add these
two the Coyote connector, since on our system the mod_jk module replaces
ServerName from the actual HTTP request to the url of the Apache
