I know this is not the right list but my google searchs have come up empty.
What is the proper syntax for patching code (software) on linux.
For example I trying to patch mess833 but I havbe is the patch code.. How is
that patch applied?

following error (see below) while running make setup check.
I have check
the archives but their was nothing. I then checked to see
if qmail was
indeed donw and to my surprise it was not. so i shut it down
I am reading thur the install instructions and page 5 it states that a patch
will be applied to qmail, however, I cannot find in the instructions where and
when the patch is applied.
Am I missing something here?
