Not a problem. We have a lot of undocumented and poorly-documented

I'm planning to build a new system between now and the end of the
year.
It will primarily run Linux, but will occasionally be booted into Win95 to
run
a few oddball things (mainly games).
I'd like advice on a recommended motherboard. I'd also like to know
if anyone else has had

True. However, Photoshop has supported them for as long
as I can remember (since ver 3.0, at least) without taking them
any farther into Illustrator's vector realm.
I would think that it would be very d
Thank you Samantha and Richard! Both of your suggestions helped me realize
what I was missing (brains). Well anyway, I now have the Netscape browser,
Netscape mail and IRC working through my Linux machine. I am still in shock
and very happy. Thanks again.

This is for something called nss, or NameService Switch. It's a libc6 thing.

Doesn't mean it can't be done.

It's like the difference between drafting/architecture and
painting... drafting and painting have their own purposes, and can both be
done very methodically. Personally, I would think it would be a Good Thing

Re: Motherboards...
I have been extremely happy with Asus motherboards. Good quality boards.
Also, a friend of mine recently acquired a dual Slot 1 board (and put a
pair of Celeron 500 chips on it for under $500 - and it has *4* IDE
channels - 2xUDMA-33, and 2xUDMA-66)
