Hi
I started that thread last August. A quick recap - I already had a B&W
duplexing networked Brother laser printer, and wanted something for
occasional duplex colour printing. I went with a Canon Pixma MG5300
multifunction device, and have been very happy with it. I had said I

We also got one of these for home recently, and I would've sworn that it
was based on recommendations from this list. :^)

For what it's worth, I have the Epson Workforce 3530, and it has network

I just bought both the HP 8600 and the Epson 4530 for local non-profits,
and I think I'd give the edge to the Epson. They're both excellent
printers, but the Epson has a traditional paper path and a true
manual-feed tray, which means it can print directly on envelopes much
better than the HP. The

Disclaimer: I have never been a big fan of multi-function devices, or
inkjet for that matter.
We don't print much or often, so inkjet is more expensive (dries up before
it is used up). Printers are slightly more expensive, but the difference
is made up in ink / toner after the first few t
I recently purchased a Canon Mx922 all-in-one from Costco for about $120.
I'm super impressed with this machine: duplex printing, scanning with a
document feeder, Wi-Fi/wired/cloud printing from Windows, Mac, Android (haven't
looked into Linux yet as I don't print from my server), scan to device
Also posted on FB, but want my LOPSA peer's advice.
My HP 4215 printer is kaput, I'm in search of a new "All in one" printer. I'm
not decided or biased on laser vs inkjet. We mostly print text, forms, letters,
but my budding actor son occasionally needs head shots printed (i.e., photos).
