If you are not comfortable with setting it up in your audio setting, which is
rather confusing at times, you can just lower down your talks volume while on
the line.

I've experienced this on my N82 as well. It is because I have the
TALKS volume on a call set to a higher level than when not on a call.
I usually press the "end" button 2 or 3 times quickly when ended a
call to avoid this issue.
