Being you have Talks 5.01.1 installed. Go in and check your audio setting for Talks for when you are on a call. This is in the Talks setting, then options, then audio settings. Then select whit setting you want to look at. After that, you will find 5 settings that have to deal with the volume and other things you want to look at the two that deal with volume during a call. What are they set two? Compare them to the two setting for when a call isn't in progress. Are they the same? If one is louder then the other one, this could explain what you are seeing. From: "Maurice Press" <mauricepr...@enterprise.net> Date: 22/12/2010 6:48 AM Hi Stephen, I am running the latest version of talks 5.1.1 and the latest eloquence. When I dial phone numbers ETC it's fine. It's only when I sometimes hang up from calls or the scenario I explained earlier. -----Original Message----- From: talks-boun...@talksusers.com [mailto:talks-boun...@talksusers.com] On Behalf Of Stephen Giggar Sent: 22 December 2010 12:42 To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Talks speaking Very loud issue. Ok in your case, being i told you not to say what you did! I will now tell you that you need to update your Talks to version 5.01.1 from the old version of Talks 4.x you are running. If you are using Eloquence you need to also make sure that you have version 6.1.123 installed. I did say latest copy is not a answer i will accept and would take it as you are running a old copy. Again always include the correct version number when asking for help. Never say latest copy being that isn't a answer that will help anyone. As far as we know, you may have a version from 1 year ago and that is on longer the latest copy. This is why i do not accept that answer. So please do the above and see how it works for you. Another question! When you dial a phone number from the standby screen! Does the volume increase for Talks as you are pressing the numbers?
