I've used a 16GB card in the N82, and the N86 and the N95* models and it works.
So if a 16GB card will work, then a 32GB card will also work. However in saying
that, you should make sure that your phone has the latest firmware for the N82,

In checking the specs for the Nokia N82, it does support the
sdHc standard, so a 32G card should work in it. I'm not sure if Nokia
has any specific recommendations. It may be the case that the N83 didn't
get a lot of testing with a 32G card. There may also be some performance
problems accessing a f
