That is no shock to me when you create your own custon lables and don't use
what is on the phone. No system is going to be able to handle that being
your own lables aren't part of the VCF file format.

Just export all your contacts to V-cards. I'm sure most phones have that
feature. On mine, it's contacts --> Options --> Create
Backup --> Phone to Memory Card.

I have had the same problem. When I switched to the iPhone, I used outlook
as an intermediry. The problem appears to be the details that outlook
recognises. I had duplicate contacts since the transfer process created two

1. Check to make sure that you don't have as a example to mobile numbers for
the same contact on your phone as far as the same field name.
2. Make sure that the number that you have on your phone have a corasponding
field in outlook 2003. Example: Fax
