"lock" means that the receiver is doing a good job to track satellites and
give you accurate positioning. Lock to satellites can mean similar to
"captured the signal".

Hi Neil, sorry but my English is not so good, I'm a Portuguese speaker. I
didn't understand what locks when in pedestrian mode. When you say something
locks, do you mean it stops working?

Normally on a keyboard the order is 1 2 3 star, next row 4 5 6 hash, next row 7
8 9 0. You can verify that by typing in a number when entering a number into a
contact or when trying to dial a number when using the physical keyboard. The
star and hash keys will be next two the keys for the number
Hi.
We've looked on the qwerty keyboard but can't find Star and hash where you
indicated.
However, having had a sighted colleague look at this, the Hash key is above
the L and the star key above the Apostrophe which just out of interest
doesn't say anything when I press it.
Thanks.

star key is beside the 3 and hash is beside the 6. So you would get the p and w
the same way. You would press the star 3 times for the p and 4 times for the w

Hi Alan.
Thanks for this.
Actually, when I go into Contacts "Create My Card" is the first option
but the next ones are all my contacts. No mention of Favourites.
I'll try the second option.

Hi all.
I wonder if anyone can assist me with the following:
1. Date and Time: If I want to hear the date and time on the E7, I
use Talks followed by the 9 key on the Qwerty keyboard.
I wonder if there's any way of replicating this using the Virtual keypad and
Talks.
