Looks like bike-shedding the previous proposal without addressing the root
problem.

I like to make an extra building key in the key:building wiki but I got
a few questions:
1. Am I allowed to add such a key?
2. How does it work? I've never done this before so help is very much
appreciated.
3. Maybe the most important question, which value is it gonna be?

Also looks like you have started another thread on the topic.

This has been addressed several times on the list for the previous proposal
as well as on the main page and discuss page of previous proposal. And this
same thing is mentioned on the last few mails of the main thread for this

There doesn't seem to be a way to tag platform screen doors and
automatic platform gates right now. If they should be in OSM, should
they be tagged as (e.g.) barrier=psd / barrier=apg, and should we have
another tag for specifying the number of doors/gates?

Platform screen doors (PSDs)
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platform_screen_doors) are series of
ceiling-height glass doors on the edges of rail platforms, usually in
underground stations, which open and close with the doors of the train
carriages. They separate the platform edge from the track and

There was a small photo of a quonset hut in Wikimedia already but I added
mine to it. The photo is at:

I don't think that's going to work very well, since as the proposal for
key:door is now every single door or gate on a platform would have to be
tagged separately. This would be a bit difficult to map, and there might
need to be a relation to specify that they all open and close at the
same time. I

I think they should come under post office tag.

If made simple, Deutsche Post is the brand name for postal serives and DHL
is the name for logistics/courier services from what I understand from the

I just mapped my third tank in about a month and I'm still wondering why it

It might just be a tagged value of the transportation platform (like
covered=yes), but unmapped.
Or perhaps, since the barrier is quite

the ID editor.

I think tagging it both as a;

I would remove the amenity=school and place that on a node with the name and
address stuff.
Leave the building as a 'Plain Jane' building=school.

I agree with Warin's recommended tagging, but W. Harry Davis Academy [1]
