Coming quickly on the heels of 1.8.0, I'm happy to announce the release of
the engine's 1.8.1 release. This release primarily comprises some updates
to the bindings, including fixing the SWIG bindings to compile against the
1.8 series and a few fixups to the CMake scripts relating to testing.

Possibly, though I would guess we could add the process of creating the CD (there are scripts etc for that) and make it useful for people who want to create their own CDs.

Very helpful background to the discussion and today's flurry of activity.
I just wish I'd been included before rather than after.
Admittedly, you never see me in the IRC channel for CrossWire or SWORD.

Hi Peter,
Since it's already advertised from crosswire.org main website, why do we also
need it in the developers' wiki ?
Isn't this pointless duplication (of the very sort we're trying to get rid of) ?

Thanks all for this effort. I woke up this morning delightfully
surprised. Just a little background to what sparked this.
A year or so ago when we moved to a new hosting facility, we used the
opportunity to begin migrating from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7 (CentOS, really).
We did this by encapsulating a c

the nature of the bad links. That report could even be posted, perhaps
on its own page.

Is there still any demand for the SWORD-CD ?
When was the last CD ordered?
Isn't this something we no longer need to advertise in the main page of our
developers' wiki ?
I won't delete this line until we hear from Troy.

Peter,
Please bear in mind that as a small community, we use a lot of in-house jargon
as well as general computer technology jargon.
Remember too that first-time visitors to the wiki may not even know (e.g.) the

Peter,
It comes over from that last reply that you are acting out of anger.
Please pause - you are at serious risk of upsetting your friends.
If anyone has upset you, please take this up with them in private.
Not everyone that reads our developers' wiki is highly technical.

Dear Johan,
That question should really be a new thread. It's unrelated to the topic of
this thread.
SWORD modules (OSIS or otherwise) are not intended to be used as the starting
point to generate other publishing formats.

Peter,
Talk pages should not be pruned.
That's against the general philosophy for a wiki.
Talk pages should be used to discuss potential or actual changes for improving

Retaining these discussions is important.
