I guess your suggestion is that the material from Greek Daniel should be
removed from the text.
We don't do manual edits to text or manual versification changes.
Whatever is in the source goes into the module. The only exception is
those books that are not part of the 66-book canon, which can't
Hmmm...
The problem occurs because SWIG cannot handle nested classes properly, so I
have to have an outer class to do it. This means that swig needs to see one
version so it will generate the correct bindings, and the c++ compiler needs
to see what really is happening.

Could you then submit an updated module? Particularly the verse encoding
problems as mentioned, also the xrefs etc

Well, it takes some effort. :)
This module is more for linguists I guess.

Hi Wolfgang,
thanks for the link.
I checked. The current version of the zefania module is correct. The one I
used to prepare the module was quite old and had missing verses in Isaia 63.

The current GerLut1545 bases on the text from M. Bolsinger (at that time it
was luther-bibel-1545.de).
I think the archives contain some discussions about the text. The text has
been edited by him and don't represent the original sources any more. And if
I remember correctly he used a later revi

Hi,
I did the GerLut1545lh some time ago. Too long ago, so I don't remember any
details.
I looked at my script and it converted from the Zefania module. I have the
original text files available, too. Atm they're not used, though.

Another reason for storing the original text is to be able to compare
and prove we haven't changed the actual text. Along with proving what
source text was actually used. As I understand it, we don't even know
what the original source was for some of the current modules. That

Hi there.
I'm trying to compile sword 1.5.11 as well as the python binding for the
maemo platform. Things were working smoothly with 1.5.10, but i run into
troubles when trying to compile this with the sword 1.5.11.
Somes details about what happened are available here:

In the KJV module, Revelation 1:8 is red letter.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which
is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
In the KJV, Revelation 21:6, none of it is red letter, despite the similar
phrases used as names of the speaker.

Please read Daniel 3 in GerGruenewald from vs 25 onwards apocryphal
material is incorporated leading to a massive conglomerate in Daniel
3:30 where the remainder of the apocryphal stuff and the material of
vers 26-30 are put into vers 30.

All right.
Some tests in MacSword. I tested german modules first.
On many there is only some problems with last/first verses in a chapter.
Others may need some more work.
How can we find out the maintainer of the modules?

Manfred,
I'm moving this to sword-devel and in keeping with policy, the author
of the original support request is removed.
I'm not sure that the message is a good one.
It could be because the module is of a Luther versification(v11n)

This is not uncommon.
Also GerSch1951 (Schlachter 1951) and Hoffnung für Alle bible have
empty verses at Gen 31:55.
This differs sometimes depending on the translation and depending on
which source texts are used.
